Our Family Story
The L2 Family Foundation was created by brothers Keon Lattimore and Ray Lewis to turn their family’s story of struggle into a platform for opportunity for others. Rooted in their own experience of watching a single mother work multiple jobs to keep a stable home, the foundation exists to help families break cycles of hardship through education, homeownership, and holistic support.
Who We Are
The L2 Family Foundation is a nonprofit organization founded in Baltimore by Keon Lattimore, with his brother Ray Lewis serving as co‑founder and longtime champion for families in need. Inspired by a childhood marked by financial hardship and a mother who often juggled three jobs to keep the family together, the brothers transformed that pain into a purpose: equipping families to build lasting stability and generational wealth.
Our Core Mission
At L2 Family Foundation, our mission is to uplift and empower single mothers, guardians, families in need, and veterans by providing education, housing support, and holistic resources that restore hope, foster resilience, and build long‑term stability and quality of life.
A Message from our Founders
Keon Lattimore
Growing up, I watched my mother work multiple jobs and sacrifice daily just to keep our family together. That taught me that no one succeeds alone and that families deserve real support, not just promises.
As a professional athlete, I was blessed with opportunities my younger self could barely imagine. With those blessings came a responsibility to reach back, lift others up, and help families and children facing the same obstacles my own family knew.
Out of that commitment—and the values my mom instilled in me—the L2 Family Foundation was born. Our work is grounded in faith, family, and the belief that investing in one family can change the trajectory of generations.
At L2, we empower families through education, homeownership support, and community programs that build stability, resilience, and hope. Our invitation to everyone who believes in this mission is simple and powerful: MAKE A CHANGE.
Ray Lewis
I was raised by one of the strongest people I have ever known—my mother, a single parent who did whatever it took to keep our family together. Watching her sacrifice gave me a deep respect for single mothers and all parents who carry that weight on their own.
My younger brother Keon had a vision to turn what we lived through into something powerful and positive. From that vision, we created “Single Homes for Single Moms and Parents,” a program that reflects exactly where we come from and what we believe: that stable homes and real support can change the trajectory of a family.
Being able to help provide housing and resources for single moms, parents, and guardians is one of the greatest joys to my heart. As God told his son Jesus, giving back and helping people is one of the greatest gifts that we have in life.
